I first became involved in the Draft horse world when I acquired Jazmin, my beautiful Shire mare, in 1995. It was love at first sight and our bond was incredible. This breed of horse was better than I ever imagined. Jazmin was perfect in every way. She rode, she drove, and her personality was so special! I was hooked! In 1999 I heard about the North American Spotted Draft Horse Association and realized that this was the horse of the future! A Draft horse with COLOR! Who could ask for more? After a very extensive search, I decided to purchase "CAPTAIN AVERY" , a GORGEOUS, NASDHA Dun & White Spotted Draft stallion. He was only 3 years old when he arrived at our home in sunny California. He came from Ohio and was very happy to be in the warm California sun! Since his arrival to his new home, he has bred a variety of beautiful Draft and Paint horse mares. He is also an excellent riding horse! He loves the trails and especially the river bottom! Captain is a perfect gentleman and can go on rides with mares in season. We get stopped every time we go out by someone asking about him. He's even been referred to as a Gypsy Drum Horse or a Paintalusian! Captain has so much grace and style. He has ton's of action and flowing movement. He truly is a "One Of A Kind!" We have also added other beautiful stallions to our addition.
